A little about me:)
I grew up in Tampa, FL to a family of funny, super smart nerds. I am therefore proudly a nerd by association, which means I have two degrees, an undergraduate in Info Systems and a Masters in Business. Performing always called my name though. My love of performing was ignited while dancing on dance teams starting in high school and then in college as a Sun Doll for USF. From there I went on to cheer professionally for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As a Buccaneer cheerleader I rose up the ranks to captain, danced for 60,000 fans every week, and did charitable events which was a major highlight of my career.
While cheering, I stumbled upon an acting class at the Performer’s Studio Workshop that changed my life. I was now hooked on a new medium of performing. My first acting roles were in plays such as Bug, Proof, Sylvia, and Rabbit Hole. They were well received and forever shaped my craft. I also had an all girl’s Improv group called Odd Man Out that was hilarious, if I do say so myself 😉 , and a lot of fun.
My first professional acting roles were in horror movies shown on the SyFy network. After that I had a string of episodic television roles, appearing in Army Wives on the Lifetime network and Necessary Roughness on the USA network. As well as episodic roles, I enjoy doing commercials and some of those have been for Miller Lite, Toyota, and the California Lottery. Today you will find me in the pilots for both the ABC’s Astronaut Wive’s Club and Fox’s Rosewood.
